Rally fans will be in for a real treat as the final lineup for Rally Trinidad 2011 comes together. The biggest names from Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad will make up the top places of the seeding order come the first week in April.

Confirmed for Rally Trinidad 2011 is Sean Gill who will be making the debut outing in Trinidad of the newly built Harry Hockly Suzuki SX4 (Simpson Motors / Lifestyle Motors). Gill has raced a number of times in Trinidad before in a Suzuki Ignis (2006) and the Suzuki Swift (2008). Gill's drove the SX4 for the first time on Caribbean soil at Rally Jamaica in 2010 where he managed 2nd place to Jamaican champion Gary Gregg beating the likes of Panton, Skeete, and Powell in the process. Gill has the machinery and the gravel experience but will face equally tough competition from the Jamaican duo of Panton and Gregg and TnT's best. Gill is confident that he can bring it to the rest of the WRC field and obviously Powell's choice of car for Rally Trinidad, which is still yet to be determined, is a threat regardless. Gill pips local knowledge to be one of the biggest advantages, but he and his team are coming to Trinidad with one thing in mind, which is to win.

Coming to Trinidad for the first time for Rally Trinidad in its present format, we have Gary Gregg and Jeffrey Panton. These two names are synonymous with regional rally excellence, and they will be coming with two of the fastest Ford Focus WRC cars in the Caribbean. Gary Gregg's list of achievements include former winner of Rally Jamaica (2005 - 2007, 2009 and 2010) and Rally Barbados in 2006. Gregg will be competing in a 2005 Ford Focus World Rally Car, while Jeffrey Panton who has won Rally Jamaica in 2008 and been a major force in Jamaica and Barbados over the years, brings his 2000 Ford Focus WRC. These drivers are both gravel surface specialists and will be a huge thrill to watch against the rest of the field.
