Yes the rumours are true - None other than Mark Higgins and Nicky Grist have confirmed their availability for RT10! 3-Time British Rally Champion Mark Higgins will sit in the driver's seat of a Grp N Mitsubishi Evo IX and have the legendary Nicky Grist calling notes for him. Flat over Crest will be the call flying through the Bronte and Cedar Hill stages as 40 confirmed competitors line up for Rally Trinidad 2010.

The TTRC launched it's 2010 Stages Championship Season opener in grand style in Preysal on Sunday February 28. With a record entry for a local rally (24) and a huge crowd on hand, Sunday's stages had all the ingredients from the start. The sunny weather was simply a bonus. Although the dust became a factor and the intervals between cars moved to 2 minutes, spectators were hardly wanting for action given the latest stage design in Preysal allowing cars to be seen for almost a full minute on each run. All 6 stages were completed and although the super special at the end had to be cut short on account of the blinding dust conditions, the day's events were enjoyed by all who attended. By all accounts the TTRC Stages Season has gotten off to a fine start and with RT10 a mere 3 weeks away, Rally fans will surely be in for a treat. Last Updated (Wednesday, 03 March 2010 22:43)

2010 SEASON STARTS OFF WITH A RECORD BREAKING LOCAL ENTRY! Rally Fans if you were anticipating a great start to the 2010 Rally Season - Here it is! 24 teams will face off on Sunday in Preysal to battle it over 6 competitive stages plus the ultimate in spectator enjoyment to close out the evening. After the 6 stages have been completed Preysal will turn into Head-to-Head Grudge Match action with 2 cars lining up to face off in an X-Games type arena.
